Kitale Municipality Grievance Redress Mechanism

About Us

The municipality was founded in 1908 by white settlers. It started as a relay station on the slave route between Uganda and Tanzania.

The Municipality is one of the major urban areas in the Western part of Kenya.

Refuse collection and solid waste management services
Water and sanitation services
Construction and maintenance of infrastructure
Maintenance of recreational parks
Regulation of outdoor advertising
